I’ve always been very fitness conscious. I’m
also into quality of life that can only be achieved when
you are fit and healthy. And, as a result, I’ve
had several personal trainer over the last few years.
I’ve learned that even though there are a lot of
personal trainers out there, not many of them can deliver
a training regimen that will achieve my desired level
of fitness while keeping me healthy and uninjured.

I was a highly competitive dancer
Since I began training with Dell White, my entire physique
has changed. Coming from an extremely active background,
with relatively healthy eating habits, I did not understand
why I was not achieving the results I wanted. Dell helped
me balance my excessive cardio routine with moderate
weight training and highly educated me on my diet.
I have now completely changed my lifestyle. I make it
a point to change up my workout routine and eat smaller,
more frequent meals to help keep me looking my best.
Even with my hectic school schedule, I’ve been
able to maintain my physique, because Dell has given
me fife-long education and understanding of how my metabolism
works according to my diet and exercise plan.
I am a 21 year old college student, 5’l”,
l08lbs with the long lean muscle I used to have 4 years
ago when I was a highly competitive dancer. My confidence
has been completely boosted and I don’t feel the
need to “cheat” on my diet due to my incredible
results in just 2 months. Because of Dell I feel great
and look even better!

I’ve been compelled to write this letter of recommendation
because of the overwhelmingly positive experience I’ve
had while training at Main Event Fitness under the expert
tutelage of Dell White. I was using Bill Phillip’s
training method for a considerable amount of time without
success before I was referred to Dell. When we first
met, I was immediately impressed by the professionalism
with which Dell set out to help me achieve my goals.
To begin with, he conducted an extensive personal goal
assessment; which sounds simple at first but in fact
turned out to be much more in depth than I had anticipated.
I believe it was instrumental in helping me achieve the
success I had been missing under all of the other approaches
I had tried. Conducting the goal assessment made it very
clear where my training and nutrition deficiencies were
and gave me metrics by which I could monitor my progress.

I could tell as soon we started training that Dell’s
approach was like no other and after 4 months of training,
the results were dramatic and impressive. People I see
on a daily basis noticed the results and that’s
what made me happiest. The thing that sets Dell apart
from everyone else is his personal interest in your success.
I genuinely feel that he cares. Training under him has
helped me achieve the success I’ve desired for
so long and given me the confidence to feel good about

My shoulder problems
have completely disappeared
Weight Training:
I have been weight training for nearly 20 years. When
I started having chronic pain in my shoulders during
my workouts, I signed up for a few sessions with Dell
to see if he had a insight as to the problem. Not only
did Dell quickly identify the exercises that were the
cause of my shoulder troubles, he was also able to
show me other exercises that much more efficiently
isolate the various muscle groups without the unwanted
wear and tear on my joints. I have altered my weight-training
regimen to include only the exercises that Dell taught
me. After three weeks using that regimen, my shoulder
problems have completely disappeared and I am making
substantial strength gains.

My only regret is that I didn’t talk sooner!
Nutrition:
Previously, my “health” plan for weight control
was culling calories and hours upon hours thinking there
has to be a better way, I met with Dell to talk about
my diet. Tried few sessions with Dell, I learned about
eating “clean.” Specifically, Dell taught
me the nutritional c foods to eat and when to eat them
to turn your body into a fat-burning machine. Although
a bit skeptical at first given that Dell actually recommended
increasing my caloric intake, results of clean eating
quickly became apparent. I found that I was able to lose
more body weight while eating more food and spending
less time on cardio! Even more surprising was the result
of clean eating on my energy levels. Not only do I now
have much more energy during my workouts, I don’t
feel nearly as depleted after I’m done. My only
regret is that I didn’t talk sooner!
I have reduced my body fat to 8%, increased my muscle
tone 15%
My training sessions with you have paid off handsomely.
I can see and feel the improvements in my body, not only
in my performance in the gym, but also in everyday routine
things. Moving and lifting heavy items I can do with
ease and without hurting or overstressing my muscles.
With your instruction, I have reduced my body fat to
8%, increased my muscle tone 15%, plus reduced my waist
down to a slim size 30! I’ve had all my pants taken
in and have returned to my 32 belts.
The nutrition guidelines and regimen of eating 5 meals
a day have significantly improved my metabolism, diet
and overall health. When we first started working together,
I was amazed when you said, “you probably don’t
eat enough” — I found that strange in our
society of overeating, but I listened. Now I eat the
infamous 5 meals a day and am hungry for every one of
them and surprisingly I weigh less. The “Low Carbohydrate
Diets” are out the window, and as you’ve
told me, complex carbohydrates are in — that’s
what gives you energy. So now each morning I begin with
oatmeal — for energy and to reduce cholesterol,
mid morning protein snack, hearty lunch of spinach salad
with chicken, afternoon protein shake, and a simple dinner
with lean meat, brown rice and vegetables, and even a
bedtime snack of almonds and a tablespoon of flax seed
oil, which burns fat while I sleep.
Now when someone pats me on the back or bumps me on the
arm, they say “you are like a rock”. Everyone
really notices the difference in my body conditioning — even

WORKING OUT IS NOT JUST ABOUT LIFTING WEIGHTS!
That’s only one of the things we’ve learned
from working with Dell White, our personal fitness trainer.
Over the past eight months, Dell has worked with us on
an individual basis, developing programs that helped
us loose excess weight and add muscle where we needed
it.
Dell’s “Form for Fitness” program showed
us how to correctly approach a workout routine. He proved
to us that simply lifting heavier weights was not necessarily
the best approach to developing a leaner, more defined
body. He demonstrated how important correct “form” could
be in achieving great results in a short amount of time.

I haven’t had 36 inch hips since I was
12
I began training with Dell White in November 2003. I
weight train one hour a day, five days a week. It’s
an aggressive schedule but I’m very pleased. Results
began to show almost immediately.

No kidding - I’ve gone from having 39 inch hips
to 36 inch hips. (I haven’t had 36 inch hips since

I’ve had several

I, Tim Fenn, am an individual who suffered a traumatic
accident, falling over seventy feet bouncing down a rock
face. This trauma inflicted severe injuries including
muscle loss in both legs, muscle damage in both arms,
